Our next monthly talk is on Thursday 11th June when Jason Harper presents Living, Loving and Leaving Iran. After growing up in a Christian family and leading a relatively sheltered life, a good university degree helped launch Jason into corporate employment which provided him the opportunity to broaden his horizons and learn more about the world. In this talk, Jason uses story-telling and humour to take the audience through ‘a day in the life of an Englishman’, living as a student in Tehran, while describing Iranian culture and surroundings, finishing up with what has been termed an ‘escape’ from the country, followed by some recent history. The talk is non-political and is really about giving the audience an eye-opening insight into Iran.

The venue for this talk is the Broadway Baptist Church, which is wheelchair-accessible and equipped with a hearing loop, and the meeting starts at 2pm.
