Chess ValleyTheatre Group
We all enjoyed ‘The King and I’ at the London Palladium in July, and later that month a small group of Theatre Group members made our own way to London to see David Haig’s ‘Pressure’, a funny, tense and deeply affecting play about the D-Day landings and the most important weather forecast of all time. After the show we were invited to a Q & A session with the cast, which was extremely interesting and informative.
On Thursday 13th September 2018 we are going to see a matinee performance of ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ at the Vaudeville Theatre, the last play in this year’s Oscar Wilde series.
This will be followed by two trips, for evening performances on 5th December 2018 and 12th February 2019, to see ‘Tina – the Tina Turner Musical’ at the Aldwych Theatre.
If you are interested in coming on the trips on 13th September 2018 and 12th February 2019 contact us. We can request more tickets for these trips as there is still room on the coach.
Any Chess Valley U3A member is welcome to join the Theatre Group and should contact the Convenors Chris and Diana Aylott on firstname.lastname@example.org so that his or her name can be added to the mailing list.
