Date and Time    Every monday in term time.  5:30 pm - 7.00 pm
Meeting Place   united Free church, woodside road, Amersham

Our first term under the direction of our new choir leader, Keith Pulford, culminated in an informal concert for family and friends at Amersham Free Church at the end of July.

The programme consisted of a variety of songs from different genres ranging from Mozart’s Ave Verum Corpus to folk songs and items from musicals.  The feedback from the audience was very positive and encouraging.  Our next performance is on Sunday, 2nd September at Latimer Church in aid of funds for the church roof. Later that month we shall be entertaining guests at one of the regular Amersham Free Church lunch sessions,

Keith has already sent us a taster of next term’s repertoire which looks really exciting with a good mix of different styles of song.

We welcomed a few members into the group this term who seem to be enjoying the weekly sessions.  There are still spaces for more members, especially in the man department!
If you enjoy singing and would like to join the group then please contact one of the convenors.  We meet weekly at Amersham Free Church from 5.30 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. each Monday and there is a small termly charge to cover expenses.  There is no audition and though an ability to read music is helpful it is not essential; Keith sends out practice tracks for each of the four harmony parts and Youtube is very useful too. We reconvene on Monday, 3rd September.

N.B.We will be giving a performance at the U3a 10th Anniversary celebration in October.  Please come along and support us!
