Weekly rehearsals are very well attended and we are busy preparing for our first event of the term.

On Saturday, 7th March those members who are available will be taking part in the annual Beaconsfield Festival of Music. This is always a most enjoyable occasion in which we have participated several times in the past. It is a great opportunity to hear other local choirs perform as well as giving our own performance. We shall be singing four numbers and then joining all the other choirs to sing the finale song.

We have several repeat bookings at local venues in the coming months while on 21st May we are performing at St Mary's Church in Chesham for a National Trust Concert. On this occasion we'll be joined by Amersham Vintage Brass Band in singing 'Hymn to the Fallen' a beautiful piece from Saving Private Ryan.

Thanks, as always, to Keith our choirleader for guiding us with patience and humour every week and to Gwen our accompanist for giving so freely of her time to keep us on the right note.

If you enjoy singing and would like to join the group then please contact one of the Convenors. We still have a few spaces particularly in the alto and bass sections. We are a very friendly and supportive group and the rehearsal sessions are at times challenging but also good fun. There is no audition ordeal; the emphasis being on the enjoyment and benefits of singing in a group. We meet each Monday evening in Amersham Free Church from 5.15 p.m. to 6.45 p.m. There is a small termly charge which covers all music and any additional expenses.
