The group reconvened on 9th September after a summer break.  Several new singers joined us and are enjoying the sessions.  We now have over 48 members in the group and our rehearsal room is bursting at the seams.

Keith, our choirmaster, has added some new items to our original repertoire which we continue to practise in preparation for forthcoming public performances.  Our weekly rehearsal sessions have recently taken on a Christmas theme with some beautiful pieces both traditional and modern which will be included in our December performances.

We shall be singing at Lunch Break at Amersham Free Church on 3rd December and Totteridge Stroke Club on 9th December.  The term will culminate in our usual concert for family and friends at the Free Church on 16th December – everyone welcome! Monies raised at all performances are donated to our chosen charity for this year: Chiltern Music Therapy.

As always we are greatly indebted to Keith and his accompanist Gwen for giving so generously of their valuable time to guide us through our weekly rehearsals.
If you enjoy singing and would like to join us then please contact one of the Convenors.  We are a very friendly, supportive group and sessions are good fun. We sing a wide range of material both in harmony and in unison.  There is no audition ordeal and while the ability to read music is an advantage it is not necessary; the emphasis is firmly on the enjoyment and benefits of singing.

The group meets at Amersham Free Church each Monday evening from 5.30 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. and there is a small termly charge which covers tuition, room hire and music.
